1. What this page is for
This page explains which information Tamasira uses, why, and who can see it. It describes how the service works today. It is not a substitute for personal legal advice.
Tamasira is a workspace for independent accompaniers. It is not a visa, admission or immigration authority, and Tamasira files nothing on your behalf.
2. Information we use
For an accompanier: name, email address, password (stored securely by the authentication provider, never in plaintext inside Tamasira), company name if provided, phone, country, language, subscription information, payment receipts that are uploaded, and messages sent to the administration.
For a student, only what the accompanier enters or requests: identity, email, case information, and documents (passport, academic papers, and other uploaded files).
If you sign in with Google, Google sends us your name and email address so we can create or open your account. Tamasira never receives your Google password.
3. Why we use it
This information is used to provide the workspace: the account, the student portal, documents, case tracking, subscription, notifications, and support.
Automated emails are sent from a Tamasira address. They say that an update is available. They do not include the details of the case.
4. Who can see what
An accompanier only sees their own students, cases and documents. A student only reaches their own portal, with their email and personal code. Students do not have a Tamasira account.
Platform administration may access what is needed to run the service, review a subscription, or answer a support message.
Student documents are stored privately. They are not public. Access happens after authentication, or through a short-lived signed link.
5. Service providers
Accounts, the database and files are hosted with Supabase. Google sign-in, if you choose it, uses Google. Emails are sent through the platform's email provider.
These providers act only to run Tamasira. They do not sell your files.
6. Cookies
Tamasira uses a session cookie to recognise you once you are signed in, and a cookie to remember the language you chose. The session cookie cannot be read by scripts on the page.
7. How long we keep it
Information stays for as long as the account exists. An expired subscription does not erase it: it only returns the account to free-plan limits until you renew.
Deleting an account is a separate, deliberate action. Before a deletion, Tamasira must say what will be permanently removed. A more detailed retention timetable will be stated before wider public use.
8. Your rights and how to reach us
You can view and correct your profile information in Tamasira. For a question about your data, write to notifications@tamasira.com.
A student's information is managed by their accompanier. A student should first contact that accompanier, or use their portal for what is already visible there.
9. Changes
This page may be updated when the service changes. The date at the top is the reference. If a change is important, we try to make it visible in the product.
